Archbishop Demetrios: The Second Decade 2009-2019

Leadership 100 is pleased to share with you a video of the official book presentation, Archbishop Demetrios: The Second Decade 2009-2019, which took place on Thursday, June 5, 2025, under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York City.

The book, prepared by Dimitrios Panagos, official photographer of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, and Revekka Papadopoulos, contains 1071 photos from the second decade of the ministry of Archbishop Demetrios, former Archbishop of America.

The event was attended by many dignitaries, friends and colleagues who took the opportunity to remember the service and legacy of Archbishop Demetrios. I was pleased to be a part of this memorable evening honoring the esteemed and respected Archbishop Demetrios, along with many of our Leadership 100 members. Leadership 100 Chairman Emeritus George S. Tsandikos, who served as Vice Chairman, and Catherine Bouffides-Walsh, who served as Secretary, of the Archdiocesan Council, and Fr. Panteleimon Papadopoulos, former Archdeacon to Archbishop Demetrios, were among the speakers who offered remarks in honor of Archbishop Demetrios.  A message from Bishop Andonios of Phasiane, former National Chancellor under Archbishop Demetrios, was read by Fr. Elias Villis, Archdiocesan District Chancellor.
