Executive Committee And Board Of Trustees Meet, Hold Membership Recruitment Dinner

The Leadership 100 Executive Committee and Board of Trustees met November 10 and 11, 2016 at the Harvard Club New York City and held a Membership Recruitment Dinner on the evening of November 10. Eight new members joined.

Both the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees addressed issues ranging from membership to grant distributions and the investment portfolio. In 2016, Leadership 100 has recruited 50 new members to date with total membership reaching 1,022, including 589 fulfilled members, according to George S. Tsandikos, Chairman, who presided at the meetings. His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Geron of America, offered paternal remarks and his vision for the future of the Church.

Tsandikos also reported that cumulative grant distributions reached $45,753,441 in 2016, while total grants approved through 2017 will reach $47,524,841. As of October 31, 2016, the total inviolate membership contributions since inception were $76.6 million, the investment portfolio totaled $79,094,931, while total assets stood at $91.1 million, he added.

Some 75 members and guests attended the Membership Recruitment Dinner. Speakers included Tsandikos; Arthur C. Anton, Founder and Chairman Emeritus; Thomas G. Jordan, Treasurer; Theodore K. Zampetis, Executive Committee member and Membership Committee Chairman; and Paulette Poulos, Executive Director.  The Rev. Protopresbyter Robert Stephanopoulos, Dean Emeritus of the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, delivered the invocation.

The new members joining included Aegina G. Angeliades, Spyros and Kay Georgopalis, Steve and Eleni Kreatsoulas, Angelo and Joanna Mallas, Bess Nicholas, Nicholas and Pauline Papain, Christopher L. Rendon and Ari and Gina Tsatsaronis.
