Leadership 100 Executive Committee Approves $6,510,700 in Grants,Total since Founding will reach $89,355,203

Meeting on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the 35th Annual Leadership 100 Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, the Leadership 100 Executive Committee approved $6,510,700 for 42 new and prior year grants for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and related and affiliated organizations, recommended by the Grant Committee, chaired by Justin Bozonelis. Upon distribution, total grants by Leadership 100 since its founding will reach a historic $89,355,203, according to Demetrios G. Logothetis, Chairman.

The approved grants are:

Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Departments 

1.     The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago- $420,000 ($210,000 in year 1, $210,000 in year 2) as a multi-year grant pending successful Year 1 for its initiated Leadership Accelerator Clergy Training Program. 

2.     The Department of Internet Ministries with Digital Liturgical Arts - 575,000 ($125,000 in year 1, $450,000 in year 2) as an adjusted multi-year grant for the Next Generation Digital Liturgical Services. 

3.     Department of Stewardship, Outreach and Evangelism $323,500 ($198,500 in year 1, $125,000 in year 2) as a multi-year grant for the Planned Giving Initiative - Regional Workshops and Matching Seed Support. 

4.     The Clergy-Laity Congress - $300,000 for the 2026 Ministry Support Initiative to support the 2026 Clergy-Laity Congress in Cleveland, Ohio. 

5.     The Department of National Ministries with Department of Internet Ministries - $275,000 ($137,500 in year 1, $137,500 in year 2) as a multi-year grant for the Bulletin Builder 3.0 grant. 

6.     The Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries - $270,000 for the Annual Camping Ministries grant to support each of the eight Metropolis camps as well as one for the Direct Archdiocesan District 

7.     The Department of Greek Education - $250,000 ($125,000 in year 1, $125,000 in year 2) as a multi-year grant for the Hellas Alive - Revitalizing Greek Language and Culture through Digital Innovation. 

8.     The Department of Marriage and Family- $220,000 ($110,000 in year 1, $110,000 in year 2) for the Clergy Family Initiative. 

9.     The Department of Communications / Orthodox Observer - $200,000 for the Inspired by Tradition, Built for Today: An Orthodox Observer for the 21st Century grant. 

10.  The Department of National Ministries with Department of Information Technologies -$175,000 for the Digital Transformation III, which completes the recommendations for the Digital Transformation II grant. 

11.  The Department of Religious and Greek Education - $160,000 ($110,000 in year 1, $50,000 in year 2) for the Development and Creation of a Standardized Religious Education Curriculum for Parochial Schools. 

12.  The Department of National Ministries with Department of Internet Ministries - $150,000 for ‘Daily Readings Mobile App 2.0 Relaunch. 

13.  The Department of Greek Education -$150,000 for the Rapid Financial Assessment and Sustainability Planning for Archdiocesan Schools. 

14.  The Office of the Chancellor - $150,000 ($75,000 in Year 1, $75,000 in Year 2) for the Young Adult Summer Internship Program. 

15.  The Department of Inter-Orthodox, Ecumenical, and Interfaith Relations -$150,000 ($75,000 in Year 1, $75,000 in Year 2) for the Green Church Initiative. 

16.  The Office of Ionian Village - $100,000 for the IV Next 2026, which would allow the underserved 19-24 age group to participate in the Ionian Village program by attending the summer camp. 

17.  The Freedom Ministry - $77,000 for the Faith-based Resolve to Eradicate Enslavement: Didactic Outreach Ministry. 

18.  The Spanish Ministry - $70,000 for the Certificate in Orthodox Theology in Spanish at Holy Cross School of Theology grant. 

19.  The School of Byzantine Music - $60,000 for To Increase and Multiply, which aims to expand the school’s media library by producing a complete Holy Week product that will include 10 independent services. 

20.  The Department of Stewardship, Outreach and Evangelism - $55,000 for the Home Mission Parish Program.

21.  The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago - $50,000 for the 2026 YAL Chicago Conference. 

22.  The Archdiocesan District - $50,000 for the 2026 AD YAL Conference. 

23.  The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco - $50,000 for the 2026 YAL Conference. 

24.  The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese - Holy Eparchial Synod - $50,000 for the Holy Week Pew Edition grant. 

25.  The Office of the Archbishop and Digital Liturgical Arts - $50,000 for the Digital Ieratikon, which is the book that clergy and chanters use during services. 

26.  Department of Communications / Orthodox Observer - $50,000 for Preserving the Byzantine Legacy: An Initiative in Art, Theology, and Education. 

27.  The School of Byzantine Music - $46,000 for To Reach and Share. 

28.  The Departments of Youth and Young Adult Ministries with Family Ministry and Religious Education - $35,000 for the Orthodox Adaptation of Youth Resources. 

29.  The Departments of Religious Education, Outreach & Evangelism, Family Ministries, and Youth & Young Adult Ministries - $25,000 for the New Evangelism: About the Orthodox Faith. 

30.  The School of Byzantine Music - $25,000 for the Equip and Nurture project, which aims to plan and execute an international pilgrimage to Greece. 

31.  The Department of National Ministries - $19,000 for the State of the Bible for Orthodox Christians, to include Orthodox Christians in State of the Bible: USA 2026. 

Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Institutions and Related Agencies

32.  The National Forum of Greek Orthodox Church Musicians - $123,000 for the Parish Music Leadership Program for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. 

33.  The Maliotis Cultural Center - $100,000 for Celebrating Hellenic Culture Through Meaningful Programming. 

34.  The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the USA - $100,000 for the Orthodox Christian Fellowship - Campus Missionary Initiative Phase 3 grant.

35.  The Small Parish Program - $140,000 for the Year 2 payment and $100,000 for Year 3 of the $440,000 3-year grant ($200,000 in year 1, $140,000 in year 2 and $100,000 in year 3) to support 4 parishes. 

36.  The Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries - $100,000 for the final payment of $150,000 ($50,000 in year 1 and $100,000 in year 2) Strengthening National YAL Ministry through National YAL Board Establishment, Conference Planning and New National Event/Initiative Development. 

37.  The Department of Information Technologies - $85,000 for the final payment of $212,000 ($127,000 in Year 1 and $85,000 in year 2) Organization and Needs Assessment for the Office of the Archbishop Document Management System (ONA-OADMS). 

38.  The Department of Inter-Orthodox, Ecumenical, and Interfaith Relations - $75,000 for the final payment of $150,000 ($75,000 in year 1 and $75,000 in year 2) for Developing Faith-Based Partnerships. 

39.  The Department of Information Technologies - $64,300 for the final payment of $177,600 ($113,300 in Year 1 and $64,300 in Year 2) for Forging the Way Parish Ministry Bulletin. 

40.  The Department of Inter-Orthodox, Ecumenical, and Interfaith Relations - $37,500 for the final payment of the $75,000 ($37,500 in year 1 and $37,500 in year 2) for GOA's Girl Delegates to the United Nations Growth and Development.
