Vassiliou Elected Anatolia Trustee

Argyris Vassiliou, a member of Leadership 100, has been elected to the Anatolia College Board of Trustees, following in the footsteps of his father-in-law, John Pappajohn, a member of the Leadership 100 Board of Trustees for more than a decade, who has served on the board of the Thessaloniki, Greece-based school for some 20 years.

Both John and Mary Pappajohn are long-time members of Leadership 100, as is Ann Vassiliou, their daughter and Argyris’ wife. Vassiliou, like Pappajohn, is an accomplished businessman. He is President of Acme Pallet, an industrial engineering company, and DiCor Industries, a structural steel fabrication business. A native of New York, he is a graduate of Cooper Union and Princeton University. He became familiar with Anatolia College through graduates of the school he had met at Princeton.

Vassiliou will be heading up an informal group of Anatolia trustees, alumni and other friends in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
