National Leadership 100 Sunday was celebrated across the nation for the fourteenth consecutive year on Sunday, October 23, 2022, the Feast Day of Saint Iakovos.

On October 7, 2022, His Beatitude Patriarch Theodoros of Alexandria met with two of the Omogeneia’s champions of philanthropy: the Greek Orthodox Ladies’ Philoptochos Society and the Archbishop Iakovos Leadership 100 Fund. 

Michael G. Psaros, Archon Ostiarios, has received The Nicholas  J. Bouras Award for Extraordinary Archon Stewardship for his outstanding service to the Orthodox Church as an Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

Archbishop Elpidophoros of America awarded Helen Carlos, a member of  Leadership 100, with the  Medal of  Saint Paul, the highest commendation of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese,  at the Great Vespers of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross  at  Holy Cross Chapel – Hellenic College Holy Cross in Brookline, Massachusetts on September 13, 2022.

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros visited the Balikli Greek Hospital in Istanbul on August 12, 2022, following a devastating fire and had the opportunity to hear from staff and residents about their experiences during the ordeal.

The Centennial Exhibit of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese (GOARCH), which made its debut at the 2022 Clergy-Laity Congress in New York City in July, has been at the Maliotis Cultural Center in Brookline, MA on the campus of Hellenic College Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology since August.
