Mike Manatos, a member of the Leadership 100 Executive Committee, won the DC Dancing with the Stars competition on November 9. Manatos won by raising $85,000 from 251 supporters across the country for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, of which he became Chairman of the Board in September. Mike’s wife, Laura, President of Laura Evans Media, was emcee of the event.

DC’s Dancing Stars Gala is an exciting fundraising event mirroring the hit TV show Dancing with the Stars!  Local DC Celebrities learn a polished choreographed routine and perform at the Gala with a professional dance partner in a competition.  A panel of celebrity judges along with the audience select the winner who receives the coveted mirror ball trophy and $10,000 for the charity of their choice.  The gala included a VIP cocktail reception, a sit-down gourmet dinner, the competition, a silent auction, professional performances, and a DJ.
