Leadership 100 Conference to Convene in Naples, FloridaIn Celebration of 40th Anniversary

The 33rd Annual Leadership 100 Conference will take place February 29-March 3, 2024, at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples in Naples, Florida. The conference will commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Archbishop Iakovos Leadership 100 Fund, according to Demetrios G. Logothetis, Chairman.

Logothetis stated: “We anticipate with great excitement the celebration of our 40th Anniversary. In preparation we have arranged for the exhibit titled Leadership 100, 1984 to 2024, 40 Years of Philanthropic Service to be displayed until May 2024 at the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago, a video produced at the exhibit, and a 40th Anniversary book form of the exhibit, to be shared with our members.”

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros will deliver a lecture in acknowledgement of the 40th Anniversary on Friday, March 1.

Speakers include General Andrew Poppas, Commanding General, US Army Forces Command; Matina Kolokotronis, Chief Operating Officer, Sacramento Kings; Colonel Matthew Bogdanos, Chief, Antiquities Trafficking Unit, New York District Attorney’s Office; Dr. Theodoros Teknos, President and Scientific Director at the UH Seidman Cancer Center and Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland; Dr. Leonidas Platanias, Director of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center and Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago; and Deacon Marek Simon, Executive Director of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF).

Other events include the Welcome Reception and New Member/First Timers Orientation on Thursday, February 29, our General Assembly, Young Professionals’ Private Dialogue with Archbishop Elpidophoros and the Hellenic Glendi on Friday, March 1, the Annual Walk/Run and Golf and Tennis Tournaments and Awards on Saturday morning, March 2, the Obelisk and Icon Photo Presentation, Children’s Program, and Grand Banquet on Saturday evening, March 2, and the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at St. Katherine’s Church in Naples, Florida  on Sunday, March 3.
