Leadership 100 Chairman Emeritus John A. Payiavlas was honored with the First Annual Jaharis Service Award for his service in the Korean War by the Washington Oxi Day Foundation on October 27, 2016. Michael Jaharis, who passed away in February of 2016 was a Founder of Leadership 100 and a renowned Church leader, philanthropist and business entrepreneur. Presenting the Award was the Jaharis Family Foundation Executive Director, Peggy Sotirhos Nicholson.  The ceremony took place on Capitol Hill in the Senate Armed Services Committee Room.

Leadership 100 Chairman Emeritus George D. Behrakis, renowned philanthropist and pharmaceutical industry entrepreneur,  was honored at the annual National Hellenic Society (NHS) “Heritage Weekend and Classic” retreat, held October 6-9 at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada. His portrait, painted by artist Euripides “Rip” Kastaris, will be inducted into the permanent collection of the Greek American Story at the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago.

Theofanis V. Economidis, a long-time member of Leadership 100, was honored with the 2016 "Nicholas J. Bouras Award for Extraordinary Archon Stewardship" by the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, at a special tribute dinner dance kicking off the Annual Archon Weekend at The New York Marriott Marquis on Friday, October 14, 2016.

John P. Calamos, Sr., a prominent member of Leadership 100, was honored by the Pan Arcadian Federation of America (PFA) at its 73rd National Convention on October 24, 2016, for his lifetime of philanthropic contributions. He was presented with the “Panagiotis Sekeris Award” at the closing banquet in Chicago.
