HC/HC Classes to Continue Online for Spring Semester

In a letter to the Hellenic College/Holy Cross community, President George M. Cantonis announced that, considering the growing COVID-19 pandemic, the campus will not reopen for the spring semester and all courses will continue to be taught remotely. The Administration “had held out hope that we could welcome everyone back to campus for in-person classes, worship, and fellowship…and we have explored every avenue for turning that hope into reality.”

“Unfortunately,” President Cantonis continued, “we have come to the inescapable conclusion that to reopen in January 2021 would be premature and unwise, given the alarming rise in COVID cases in Massachusetts and around the country, with the likelihood of the situation worsening over the winter…Our highest priority must always be to ensure the health and safety of everyone associated with Hellenic College/Holy Cross. We therefore have no responsible choice but to continue to conduct all classes remotely through next semester.”
