CrossRoad announced its planned expansion to the West Coast in the summer of 2022. Through the leadership of His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco and the generosity of The George and Judy Marcus Family Foundation, CrossRoad will host one of its three sessions in San Francisco, California.

National Hellenic Society Honors Helen Nicozisis
he National Hellenic Society honored NHS member Helen Bakalis Nicozisis with the prestigious Ariston Award for Excellence at the 2021 Heritage Weekend and Classic, October 7-10, in Las Vegas. The weekend was dedicated to the memory of the beloved Dr. George Korkos. Nicozisis, along with her husband, Lou, are long-time members of Leadership 100. Dr. Korkos was also a longtime member.

The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and the Friends of Saint Nicholas officially commenced the 20th Anniversary remembrance of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, with a memorial service and the inaugural lighting of the Saint Nicholas National Shrine at the World Tarde Center on Friday, September 10, 2021.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Meets with President Biden
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and US President Joseph Biden had a warm and cordial visit October 25, 2021, in the Oval Office at the White House.
The discussion involved the shared sense of urgency ushered by the climate crisis. The Ecumenical Patriarch noted that the need for political leaders to respond is particularly timely considering the imminent COP26 meeting in Glasgow.
Center For Family Care National Conference
Clergy, counselors, pastoral care workers and lay persons from across the United States gathered in Houston, Texas Jan. 22-25 to share insights, tools and resources for strengthening marriages and ministering to married couples in times of challenge and crisis. Keynote speakers set the tone for daily workshops, which focused on a variety of marital challenges set in the context of Kairos and Chronos time.
