Registration for Fanari Summer Camp Opens

The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago opened registration on March 23, 2021 and announced on March 12, 2021 the dates of sessions  for Fanari Summer Camp, which will take place in person after last year’s cancellation caused by COVID-19.

This summer, Fanari Summer Camp, the flagship of the Chicago Metropolis’ youth ministries, will celebrate its 49th year. After consulting with the Metropolis’ medical advisors and following best practices provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Camp Association, and the various States where campers reside, Fanari Summer Camp will be safely conducted in person with appropriate physical distancing and PPE. Fanari Camp is working closely with the St. Iakovos Retreat Center to ensure the safety of all campers, counselors, clergy, and staff.
