The Onassis Cultural Center opened its renovated gallery in the Olympic Tower at 645 Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan on March 24, 2016 with a major exhibition of ancient art, installations of contemporary art, and a variety of events and resources on site and online, dedicated to the theme of Gods and Mortals.

Eleni Bousis, member of the Leadership 100 Board of Trustees and John P. Calamos, a long-time member, were honored for their “excellence in service” at the AHEPA Midwest Family Gala on February 20, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.

George Sakellaris, long-time member of Leadership 100 and prominent business leader and philanthropist, was declared overall winner of 2016 RORC (Royal Ocean Race Club) Caribbean 600 on February 25, 2016, skippering his Maxi72, Proteus (USA) yacht. He was awarded the RORC Caribbean 600 Trophy for the second time, having been overall winner with his Maxi72, Shockwave in the 2014 race.

Dr. Lazarus M. Kirifides of Wilmington, Delaware, a fulfilled member of Leadership 100, was honored at the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Hermes International Expo on April 5, 2016 at the Concordville Inn and Best Western Hotel Conference Center in Concordville, Pennsylvania, in the Philadelphia area.
