National Leadership 100 Sunday was celebrated across the nation for the sixteenth consecutive year on Sunday, October 27, 2024, the closest Sunday to the Feast Day of St. Iakovos, in honor of the Founder of Leadership 100, Archbishop Iakovos of Blessed Memory.

The re-established Archbishop’s Nameday Gala, honoring His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, will take place on November 17th at Terrace on the Park in Queens, New York. Now in its second year, the gala will once again raise critical funds for the "Archdiocesan Youth Summer Camp Scholarship Fund," which provides financial assistance to children from across the Archdiocese, enabling them to attend Greek Orthodox summer camps regardless of their financial circumstances.

Dr. Anthony J. Limberakis, National Commander of the Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, began the evening by informing those in attendance that the Bouras Award Dinner was the traditional kickoff event of Archon Weekend.

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, accompanied by His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco and His Eminence Metropolitan Savas of Pittsburgh, presided at the Investiture of twenty-eight new Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate from throughout the United States, following the Divine Liturgy at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York City on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

The Hellenic Post (ELTA) and the International Foundation for Greece (IFG) have designated Michael G. Psaros and Dean A. Spanos, both Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and members of Leadership 100,  and among four members of the global Greek diaspora, were honored with  depiction in the latest issues of the Commemorative Stamp Series “Distinguished Greek Personalities – IFG” on October 14, 2024 at the Dimitrios Pandermalis amphitheater of the Acropolis Museum in Athens, as images of the stamps were unveiled.

Dr. Eleni Andreopoulou, Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, a distinguished oncologist, breast cancer specialist and director of Clinical Breast Cancer Research and a member of Leadership 100, was honored at an event organized by the Panhellenic Medical Association’s (PMA) Women Physicians Committee on March 13, 2024, as part of the commemoration of International Women’s Day.

Leadership 100 elected prominent member George Anderson to its Board of Trustees and appointed him to the Grant Committee.
