Each year, the Conference is one of the defining experiences for members of Leadership 100 — a chance to step away from the demands of daily life and reconnect with the people and purpose that make this organization so special. 

What does Leadership 100 philanthropy look like in the life of a child? Sometimes, it looks like a teacher opening a new lesson plan on Sunday morning. A student completing a worksheet that connects the Gospel to everyday life. A family continuing a conversation about faith long after church has ended.

For nearly a century, the Department of Religious Education of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America has worked to help generations of Orthodox Christians deepen their relationship with Christ and understand the teachings, traditions and life of the Church. Today, under the leadership of His Grace Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos, that mission is entering an important new chapter.

On Sunday, October 25, Greek Orthodox parishes across the country will celebrate the eighteenth observance of National Leadership 100 Sunday.

One of the most profound questions we can ask as Leadership 100 members is: "What does our support make possible?" In the case of the FREEDOM Ministry, the answer is a powerful, faith-based response to one of the most pressing moral crises of our time: human trafficking.
