On October 25, 2021, at a dinner at Georgetown University held in honor of His-All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, Archon Michael Psaros announced the establishment of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Endowed Orthodox Chaplaincy at Georgetown University, endowed by the Psaros family with a 3-million-dollar donation promoting Interfaith Unity.
Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Meets with President Biden
His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and US President Joseph Biden had a warm and cordial visit October 25, 2021, in the Oval Office at the White House.
The discussion involved the shared sense of urgency ushered by the climate crisis. The Ecumenical Patriarch noted that the need for political leaders to respond is particularly timely considering the imminent COP26 meeting in Glasgow.
Center For Family Care National Conference
Clergy, counselors, pastoral care workers and lay persons from across the United States gathered in Houston, Texas Jan. 22-25 to share insights, tools and resources for strengthening marriages and ministering to married couples in times of challenge and crisis. The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Chicago opened registration on March 23, 2021 and announced on March 12, 2021 the dates of sessions for Fanari Summer Camp, which will take place in person after last year’s cancellation caused by COVID-19.
